Xinrui Laboratory Ultrapure Water System is a water purification equipment for laboratory use. It is a water treatment device that removes all solid impurities, salt ions, bacteria, viruses, etc., from water through methods such as filtration, reverse osmosis, electrodialyzer, ion exchanger, and UV sterilization. Laboratory ultrapure water systems are widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, chemicals, and biological and chemical laboratories. Laboratory ultrapure water systems typically produce two types of water: pure water and ultrapure water. Xinrui laboratory ultrapure water approaches the theoretical purity limit in terms of resistivity, organic content, particle and bacterial content. It is pre-purified through ion exchange, RO membrane, or distillation, and then further purified through nuclear-grade ion exchange to obtain ultrapure water. Typically, ultrapure water has a resistivity of up to 18.2 MΩ·cm, TOC <10 ppb, filters out particles of 0.1 μm or even smaller, and has a bacterial content below 1 CFU/ml. Ultrapure water is suitable for various precision analytical experiments, such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), ion chromatography (IC), and ion capture-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
Working Principle of Xinrui Laboratory Ultrapure Water System The working principle of the laboratory ultrapure water system is that tap water is pre-treated through precision filter cartridges and activated carbon filter cartridges to filter out particles such as sediment and adsorb odors, making the tap water cleaner. It then undergoes water purification and desalination through a reverse osmosis device. The purified water is stored in a storage tank, and its quality can meet the national tertiary water standard. Meanwhile, the wastewater produced by the reverse osmosis device is discharged. Reverse osmosis pure water undergoes deep desalination through a purification column to obtain Grade 1 water or ultrapure water. Finally, if the user has special requirements, UV sterilization or micro-filtration, ultrafiltration, and other devices are added after the ultrapure water to remove residual bacteria, particles, pyrogens, etc., from the water. Precision filter cartridges, activated carbon filter cartridges, reverse osmosis membranes, and purification columns are materials with relatively limited lifespans. Precision filter cartridges and activated carbon filter cartridges actually protect the reverse osmosis membrane. If they fail, the load on the reverse osmosis membrane increases, and its lifespan shortens. If the system continues to operate, the quality of the produced pure water decreases, which in turn increases the burden on the purification column, shortening its lifespan. The final result is an increase in the operating cost of the ultrapure water system.
